I spent last night experimenting with charcoal. Today I tried out watercolors-- loved 'em! Tomorrow I'll try pastels.

An oldddd old old old retired character. I spotted her in an old sketchbook and thought I'd try it out. She's a walking cliche, lemme tell ya. I sure had an eye for character creation back in the day! Heh.

A work in progress. I'm not sure where I'll go from here but I've been drawing out ideas.

When I got tired of it I noticed the picture felt reminiscent of The Presence from the old NIN AIR ARG. Lemme tell ya, that was some FUN TIMES right there. Me and my brother were tagging along desperately in the ARG, trying to help decode everything on echoingthesound and find the new websites and leaked songs. At the time NIN didn't release any official AIR things yet, and the theme was literally AIR-Art is Resistance, so everyone was up in arms making their own art of the ARG, and we made shirts and jackets and everything.

Ahh, nostalgia! I wish some other kind of ARG like that would pop up.

Here's a few panels from a comic I sketched up today. Not like it's obvious or anything but I've never actually made a comic before, LOL. So yeah, no idea what I'm doing. Most "comics" I make are just me planning out an animation... which is what I'm aiming for this new comic to become, haha.

I just got so much delicious stuff from this cool korean market by my house!! Well... except for these jujubes... chewing for 20 minutes isn't as fun as the box makes it look.

Today was an AWESOME day, and I'm exhausted! I'm in such a great mood I thought I'd CG the sketch I was gonna post. It didn't turn out as great as I hoped.. that head is just too big, even for my big-headed art, and the face is just... uncomfortable. But I'm content with the colors at least! My character, Rollen.
